Virgin Mobile late payment fee increase
Winner of the SPOTD award today is Virgin Mobile. Included in my monthly bill is a letter advising me that the late fee for bill payments will be doubling from $5 to $10. All I have to do to avoid the fee is pay by the due date or ‘consider the convenience of Direct Debit’.
Hey! Virgin Mobile! I’ve got a cost-saving suggestion - don’t print a sheet of paper and stick it in the bill of someone who’s already using Direct Debit! Maybe that would cut down on costs? You know, just a thought since apparently this fee is ‘due to increases in our operating costs’…
