It occurs to me that the days of anyone, even little kids, being able to see inside the workings of a cockpit are over. The pilot and co-pilot were more than happy to point out the various components, and whilst we would barely be certified pilots after our lesson, I have no doubt we could have flown the plane in a straight line at a target. Security, of course, would never allow that sort of thing any more. How times change.
